Vintage 1940s Tri-Color Gold Filled Watch Pin, Croton Movement
This exquisite vintage watch pin hails from the 1940s and is crafted from a beautifully ornate tri-color gold filled design set on silver. Marked on the back “1/20 12K. G.F. ON SILVER, DO”, this piece weighs approximately 19.4 grams and measures about 1 3/4″ wide x 2 5/8″ long. The pin features a delicate flower design accented with swirls and rose gold beads. Two larger 1/2 inch beads adorned with double circles and leaves dangle gracefully from the center. A vintage Croton wind-up watch, marked with “CROTON”, is secured in the heart of the pin. This watch boasts a gold filled case with a beveled edge crystal, black numerals, and blue hands. While the watch winds easily and its stem is functional, it does not currently run. The pin remains in very nice condition with good working order, opening and closing effortlessly. It’s a fantastic example of retro jewelry that captures the elegance of a bygone era.
