Vintage Kelly Morris Circus Poster – Captain Enger Lion Tamer & Snake 1952
Offered is a vintage circus poster from the 1952 Kelly Morris Circus featuring Captain Enger, the world’s greatest lion tamer. This unique poster showcases a snake coiled around a tree in the wild, a striking visual rarely seen in circus posters. Measuring 27 1/4″ x 19 1/4″, the poster is in great condition with minimal handling marks. There is a repaired 5 1/2″ tear on the right edge using cellophane tape that does not significantly detract from its appearance. A pencil inscription “1952” in the upper left corner suggests the year of the circus and is consistent with other posters from this collection. No holes are present in the corners or along the edges.
