Vintage US & UK Railway Collectibles: History, Satire, & Train Display Streamer
This listing presents a unique collection of three publications dedicated to the world of railways. The first is a 1954 publication focusing on the history, terminology, and practices of U.S. Railways spanning approximately 16 pages. Measuring 9 3/4″ x 7 1/8″, this piece offers a historical glimpse into American railroading. The second item is a Train Display Streamer composed of eight fan-folded sheets that unfold to reveal a sizable display measuring 6ft. x 4 7/16″. This streamer features illustrations of both freight cars on one side and passenger trains and cars on the other, with all folds remaining solid and untapped. The third publication, “Hold Tight”, is a British black and white volume of approximately 24 pages including covers, offering humor and satire centered around early British trams and trolleys.
