This exceptional 1986 United States Mint Special Edition Proof Set is a must-have for any serious collector. Issued in 1986, this set features proof versions of the cent, nickel, dime, quarter, and half dollar from that year. In addition to these standard circulating coins, the set also includes proof versions of both the Statue of Liberty Commemorative Dollar and Half Dollar. All coins within this set were struck at the prestigious San Francisco Mint. While the majority of the coins are composed of standard materials, the dollars are crafted from 90% silver. The set is presented in its original grey velvet booklet, complete with its original certificate and blue outer box.
