Antique Rose Gold Garnet Collar Buttons | Victorian Era Vest Buttons (Pair)
Offered is a rare pair of 1880s era rose gold plated garnet collar or vest buttons. These unmarked buttons weigh a combined 4.6 grams. Each button measures approximately 13mm across and 3.1mm high. They feature an ornate border, a round disc center with a small garnet measuring about 1.5mm across, and four tiny holes surrounding the garnet that may have originally held pearls. The buttons exhibit wear consistent with age and use but remain in good working order.
