Antique Victorian Child’s Eyeglasses – Original Leather Case & ’22’ Stickers
This exquisite antique Victorian child’s eyeglass set is a captivating glimpse into the past. Presented in its original leather case, clearly marked ‘Archer, 107 N. Franklin St.’, these glasses showcase an un-marked metal and glass construction. Weighing approximately 11.7 grams, they measure about 4 1/2 inches across, hinge to hinge. Each eyeglass features oval beveled glass lenses, each adorned with a paper sticker inscribed ’22’, measuring roughly 3/4 inch by 1 inch. The arms extend approximately 3 3/4 inches in length, terminating in gracefully curved ends. These glasses are in very good condition and represent a remarkable estate find.
