1863 Civil War Columbia PA Bridge Burning Commemorative Red Clay Token
This unique fired red clay commemorative, measuring 2″ in diameter, commemorates the significant historical event of the bridge burning in Columbia, Pennsylvania, during 1863. Union soldiers strategically burned the bridge to prevent Southern soldiers from crossing the Susquehanna River at their town. The piece is in great condition with only a small chip above the “IA” in COLUMBIA on the obverse side. Please examine the photos for details.
