Vintage Elgin American Powder Compact – Green & Rose Scene, 1940s-50s
Offered is a vintage Elgin American powder compact, believed to date from the 1940s-50s. This compact exhibits minimal signs of wear, with its gold-tone metal case featuring an attractive green and rose-colored scene. Measuring approximately 3″ x 2 5/16″ x 3/8″ thick, it is free of dents or dings, only exhibiting minor rub marks. The case latch and hinge remain tight. The interior mirror is in excellent condition and retains all of its “silvering”. Powder was present inside the compact upon discovery and has been removed.
