Victorian Sterling Silver & Gold Wash Pin with Porcelain Couple Scene
This exquisite Victorian-era pin is crafted from sterling silver with a beautiful gold wash. Marked “STERLING” on the back, it measures approximately 1 1/8″ x 1″. Six double prongs securely hold an oval porcelain piece, inscribed “30” on the back. The pin features a charming scene of a young couple in period attire, she with a parasol and he with a walking stick, he presenting her with a flower. While the pin shows signs of gentle wear consistent with its age, it remains in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is some loss of the painted gold edge on the porcelain, but it functions perfectly, opening and closing smoothly.
