Antique Cabinet Photos – Young Girl’s Growth (1890s, Reading, PA) – Unique Collection
This unique collection features five antique cabinet photos from the 1890s, originating from a New York Gallery in Reading, Pennsylvania. The photos document a young girl’s growth, spanning from infancy to approximately six or seven years old. Each cabinet photo measures approximately 6 1/2″ x 4 1/4″, except for the last photo, which is a smaller novelty photo measuring 3 1/2″ x 2 1/2″. The first photo, clearly marked “J.S. Fritz, 418 N. 6th St., Reading, PA.”, showcases a beautifully dressed young lady in sepia tones. The remaining four photos depict the same child as she matures. The final photo is marked “719 Penn St., Reading, PA., Photo Novelty Co.”. All photos are in remarkably good condition and display clear imagery.
