Vintage 1940s-50s Painted Under Glass Horse Head Tie Bar – Gold Tone
This vintage tie bar, dating back to the 1940s or 1950s, features a unique equestrian design. Crafted from unmarked gold-tone metal, it weighs approximately 6 grams and measures 2 1/4 inches in length. The centerpiece is a raised clear glass dome measuring 3/4 inch by 1/4 inch thick. This dome showcases a reverse-carved horse head adorned with a bridle and reins. The tie bar is equipped with a clip at each end for secure attachment to a shirt collar. It is in excellent condition, with a clear and bright finish, and is fully functional.
