WWII US Military Vollrath Aluminum Canteen – Original 1943, Nice Condition
This U.S. Military canteen dates back to the WWII era and was manufactured by Vollrath. Crafted from heavy aluminum, it presents in nice condition with minimal small dents concentrated around the upper portion. The bottom is marked “U.S. VOLLRATH – 1943”. The cap is in good condition, although it lacks the original cork seal. The cover appears to be the correct style for this canteen but has been fitted with Vietnam era ALICE clips. There are some markings on the back of the cover that are currently unreadable. Both snaps are secure and function properly.
