This exquisite antique cream ladle, crafted in 1904 by the Mechanics Sterling Company of Watson Co., Attleboro, Massachusetts, is a testament to the artistry of the era. Marked with an “H” in a flag and “STERLING”, this piece weighs approximately 25.8 grams and measures about 5 1/2 inches in length, featuring a gracefully curved handle. Designed by Eustace Crees & Charles S. Court, the Altair pattern boasts intricate Art Nouveau details with heavy raised florals. The bowl, adorned with a light gold wash, spans about 1 3/4 inches across and is accented by a scalloped and indented border. While showing signs of gentle use, including a slight bend in the curve, this cream ladle remains in very nice condition.
