Antique Georgian Gold-Washed Arrow Sash Buckle (1800s) – Cut Steel & Riveted Detail
This impressive antique Georgian gold-washed riveted cut steel arrow sash belt buckle dates back to the 1800s. Measuring approximately 6 1/8″ long x 1 1/4″ wide and weighing roughly 23.7 grams, this unmarked buckle features a striking arrow shape adorned with a rich bright gold wash and edged in riveted cut steel. Tiny riveted beveled edge tips accentuate each point, adding to its elegance. The open center houses a 2.4mm gold-washed bar equipped with a sharp three-pronged piece for securely holding the sash material. While displaying minor signs of age, such as darkened spots on the gold wash, this buckle remains in very nice condition and is a stunning testament to fine craftsmanship.
