This vintage LONGINES – WITTNAUER box is a unique piece of horological history. Originally designed to house a wristwatch, the company envisioned its continued use for storing jewelry, studs, and cigarettes, as indicated by markings on the interior base. Constructed from wood with a striking red covering, the hinged lid closes securely. Measuring 4 7/16″ X 3 3/16″ X 1 1/2″ externally, the box is in excellent condition for its age, exhibiting only minimal signs of handling.
