Vintage Gold Filled Carved Shell Cameo Brooch & Pendant (1920s-30s)
This exquisite vintage cameo brooch features a carved shell centerpiece set in an ornate, gold-filled openwork frame. Marked “1/20 12K. G.F.”, this piece weighs approximately 6.7 grams and measures about 1 1/2″ x 1 1/4″. The cameo depicts a captivating young woman with curled, wavy hair adorned with ringlets and a flower at the nape of her neck, a popular motif in the 1920s-30s era. It is in very nice condition and functions perfectly as both a brooch and a pendant, complete with a bale for necklace wear.
