This vintage Taxco, Mexico sterling silver ring features a captivating carved onyx mask. Clearly marked with the bell “135” and “Taxco Mexico 925”, as well as the signature “JM”, this unique piece weighs approximately 6.5 grams. The adjustable size 10 band is rounded and polished for comfortable wear, offering flexibility beyond simple sizing cuts. The intricate setting measures about 1″ x 3/4″, encasing a stunning bezel-set onyx mask measuring approximately 17.7mm x 13.2mm. While the ring exhibits signs of gentle wear consistent with age, it remains in nice condition and excellent working order. The carving is well-preserved, with a minor chip near the chin.
