This is a commemorative coin set from the “Modern” era, issued by the United States Mint in 1992 to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus’s discovery of the “New World”. The set features a 1992 Philadelphia Mint proof silver dollar and a San Francisco Mint proof clad half dollar. The coins are encapsulated in their original containers and presented in a nice, original box with a certificate and over sleeve. The coins are in excellent condition.
