Vintage 1965 Brass Powder Compact – Mohonasen Jr. High Prom Souvenir
This vintage brass powder compact, dating back to 1965, is a truly unique and rare find. Weighing approximately 73 grams and measuring about 3 1/4″ high x 2 1/4″, this handled compact features an assortment of decorative patterns on its exterior. The hinged lid opens to reveal a powder compartment complete with a puff, sieve, and mirror. The top is adorned with an enameled school insignia featuring an Indian head and the inscription “MOHONASEN JR. HIGH PROM 1965”. While showing signs of gentle use, this compact remains in very nice condition and functions perfectly. It would make a wonderful addition to any vintage or memorabilia collection.
