Vintage Elgin Pocket Watch – Steam Locomotive Design – Running Stem-Wind
This vintage Elgin stem-wind pocket watch features a captivating steam locomotive design on its back cover. Recently wound, the watch has maintained accurate time. It’s a lever-set type; however, due to the unique construction of the covers, we haven’t been able to adjust the time. The bright white dial exhibits only minor hairline scratches in a few areas. The crystal is clear and free of imperfections. The case itself shows no dents, and the locomotive design on the back remains in excellent condition. While both front and back covers appear to be threaded correctly, we lack the necessary tools for removal. Sold as-is for parts or restoration, this watch presents a fantastic opportunity for collectors or those seeking a unique vintage timepiece.
