Vintage Elgin Grade 290 Hunt Case Pocket Watch – Antique, 7 Jewel Movement (1911)
Offered is an antique Elgin Grade 290/Class 109 pocket watch housed in a hunt case. The watch is not currently running and is wound tight. The case features intricate designs on both sides and a small monogram at the bottom of the front cover. It is marked “Philadelphia Watch Case Co. – Victory – 10 Years”. There is a very minor ding on the outer back cover, otherwise the covers close securely. The movement serial number, 15269787, dates this timepiece to 1911. This watch has a size of 16s and contains 7 jewels. The overall condition is excellent, with a clean and well-maintained appearance. This Elgin pocket watch is being sold as parts or for repair.
