Vintage Burt Cassell 12K Gold Filled Scarab Pin/Brooch (1950s-60s)
This delightful vintage pin or brooch is a stunning example of craftsmanship from the 1950-60s. Clearly marked on the back ‘Burt Cassell, 1/20 12KT’, this piece weighs approximately 5.8 grams and measures about 1 1/4″ x 1″. The oval design features beautifully crafted swirls and leaves in bright gold filled, surrounding three genuine scarabs, which have been tested. Each scarab measures approximately 9.25mm x 7.25mm. While this piece shows signs of wear consistent with its age, it remains in very nice condition and is in good working order.
