Vintage Taxco Mexico Sterling Silver Poison Ring with Golden Sheen Obsidian – NJD Marked
This vintage Taxco, Mexico sterling silver ring boasts an ornate design and a rich golden sheen obsidian accent. Marked “TAXCO MEXICO 925” and “NJD”, it weighs approximately 10.4 grams and is adjustable to fit size 5. The ring features extensive decorations covering both the sides and top, with a center piece measuring about 20mm across x 14mm high. A polished quartz bezel is set in the center, measuring 10.5mm x 8mm. A hidden compartment, characteristic of a “poison ring”, opens to reveal a small space. This piece is in very nice condition with a lovely soft patina, showcasing its age and history.
