Vintage 1930s Sanford Carved Bakelite Ring & Earrings Set – Unique & Rare
This rare and unique antique 1930s carved bakelite ring and earrings set, signed Sanford, is a stunning example of vintage jewelry. The ring features a beautifully carved bakelite disc, approximately 3/4″ across, in a rich mottled green color. It is marked ‘SANFORD’ inside the band and is a size 7. The silver band measures approximately 2.4mm wide at the back and has split etched sides. The ring is prong set and secure. The matching earrings are silver clip-ons, each featuring the same carved bakelite top as the ring. They are unmarked and weigh a combined 10 grams. The bakelite tops and the metal clip-ons are glued to a backing. This set is in very nice condition.
