Antique Eyeglasses Pair – Gold Filled Spectacles & Prince Nez – Homer J. Rhode & Paul C. Craig, Reading PA
Offered for sale is a unique collection of two antique eyeglass pairs. The first pair consists of gold-filled clear spectacles marked “(H)” on the nosepiece and weighing approximately 13.1 grams. These glasses feature clear oval lenses, measuring about 4 1/2″ across and 4″ arm length. They are in very nice condition. Accompanying this pair is an unmarked prince nez style eyeglasses, also in excellent condition. Weighing approximately 11 grams, these glasses measure about 4 1/4″ across. Both pairs of spectacles are presented in a black case clearly marked “HOMER J. RHODE, M.D. & PAUL C. CRAIG, M.D., 220 NORTH SIXTH ST., READYING, PA.”.
