This exquisite antique cameo pin dates back to 1937, as evidenced by the “PAT. 2068968″ hallmark. Crafted from gold-washed metal, it features a delicate scalloped border framing a beautifully carved shell cameo depicting a young lady with charming upswept curls. The oval frame measures approximately 7/8″ x 3/4″, while the cameo itself is about 9/16″ x 1/2”. Weighing approximately 4.9 grams, this piece showcases the artistry of vintage jewelry design. Though it displays signs of gentle wear consistent with its age, including some loss of the gold wash, it remains in very good condition. The pin, clasp, and lock all function smoothly.
