Vintage Beaded Evening Purses Set (1940s-50s & Czech Republic) – Black & White, Seed Beads, Zipper Closure
Offered here are two vintage beaded evening purses from a recent estate collection. The first purse dates to the 1940s-1950s era and is black in color. It measures approximately 7 1/4″ x 4 1/2″, features a black taffeta lining with an interior pocket, a working zipper, and a strap handle on the back. While showing signs of use, it remains in nice condition. The second purse is clearly labeled “Made in Czechoslovakia”. It boasts a unique scalloped shape, white and silver color scheme, and measures approximately 8 3/4″ x 4 3/4″. This eye-catching piece is adorned with a beautiful pattern of white, gray, and iridescent seed beads and tube beads. A white taffeta lining, interior pocket, and working zipper complete this stylish accessory. Like the first purse, it exhibits signs of use but remains in very nice condition and good working order.
