Vintage A. Nicolet .800 Silver Pin/Pendant Watch – Engraved Case – Restoration Project
This vintage ladies pin/pendant watch is a recent estate find and features a fancy .800 fine silver case with an engraved scene on the back cover depicting two birds perched in a tree. The case measures approximately 1 5/16″ in diameter and has two hinged back covers. Inside the inner back cover is marked “A. Nicolet – No.2359”. While the movement appears clean, the watch is currently not running and needs winding. The outer back cover is marked with a bird mark as well as “.800”. The case is in very nice condition with no dents, and both cover hinges operate smoothly and fit snugly. There’s a partial pendant hanger on the bow, but no pin is present. The fancy dial is in good condition, although there is a small crack on the edge between the 7 and 9 o’clock positions. The hands are all in nice condition, and the crystal is solid and clear.
