Antique Elgin Grade 291 Pocket Watch (1910) – Parts/Repair – 7 Jewel Movement
This Elgin Grade 291/Class 110 pocket watch, manufactured approximately in 1910, presents a compelling project opportunity. The watch, featuring a 7-jewel movement, measures 50mm in diameter and 13.5mm thick (including the crystal). While the watch is not currently running and is wound tight, its bright white dial and solid crystal, exhibiting mild scratches, retain their original charm. The case, marked “WARRANTED B & B PEER – 20 YEARS” on the inside, shows nice overall condition. The large monogram on the back displays wear, with mild rub-through on the edges of the frame.
