Antique Victorian Gold Washed Collar Buttons, 1880s, Rose Gold & White Gold Details
This exquisite pair of Victorian collar buttons dates back to the 1880s. Each button measures approximately 1/2″ across and weighs a combined 4.4 grams. The hinged backs are crafted from rose gold and bear the inscription “MAY 82′”. These buttons boast a rich, bright gold wash and intricate applied details, featuring a rose gold scalloped “V”, yellow gold bead stems, and white gold flowers. While they show signs of wear consistent with their age, they remain in very nice condition and function perfectly. A truly unique and historically significant piece.
