Vintage Sterling Silver Art Deco Tie Bar & Cufflinks Set w/ Black Enamel & Marcasites (AV)
This elegant Art Deco men’s furnishings set features a tie bar and a matching pair of cufflinks, both crafted from sterling silver. The tie bar, weighing approximately 14.9 grams, features a silver tie clasp with a 2 1/4″ chain that supports a beautiful Art Deco centerpiece. Measuring about 1 1/8″ x 3/4″, the oval centerpiece is adorned with sparkling marcasites, a raised oval center also covered in marcasites, a black enamel edge, and the initial “AV”. The cufflinks, each weighing approximately 6.9 grams, measure about 7/8″ x 1/2″ and feature a dumbbell swivel arm, ensuring both are in good working order. The tie bar is signed “STERLING” on the back and “BY” with a name that is not legible. The set is beautifully made and resembles the work of Kilmer & Daniels (K & D).
